The location of the Cedars Inn in Barnstaple is wonderful and incredible. It is very close to the black castle, offering two meals for only £9.99, which is marvellous value for good food. The cafe sells fabulous cakes and the pub is quite large....

It's a beautiful location.
I was already a guest in this hotel in September 2018, unfortunately the quality of the cuisine (breakfast, dinner) was by far not as good as in 09/2018, furthermore the menu was changed to the disadvantage. Very sad, the evening cuisine enjoyed in 2018 was one of the reasons to book this hotel again, the new card disappoints. The outside furniture is unfortunately not maintained very much, with bright clothes one cannot sit down on the furniture.
